The American company Microsoft, through its 4Afrika initiative, announced on September 22, 2020 the signing of a new partnership agreement with AGRA. The goal is to co-create technological solutions that will improve the food security of 30 million farm households in 11 countries on the continent, including Nigeria, Rwanda, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, by 2021.

The new agreement between Microsoft and AGRA is the result of the success of the previous one signed at the Africa Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) held in September 2019 in Ghana. It allowed, in collaboration with the Kenyan Ministry of Agriculture, the development of the KuzaBot chatbot to support the village and farmer advisor program, the development of the war room for food security in response to the Covid-19 pandemic . He also supported, among others, the Kenya National Potato Council (NPCK), the East African Farmers Federation (EAFF), the East African Grains Council (EAGC).
